“Our guide Jason was fantastic. He was personable, attentive, and knowledgeable. He spotted many animals and insects for us and helped capture amazing photos and videos which he shared at the end of the tour. We especially enjoyed how he shared information about the behaviors and scientific facts about the animals, as well as insights about Costa Rica’s culture and history. Jason was also funny and shared stories. We felt that the tour was a great value. And, had we not hired a guide, we probably would have mostly seen plants and trees.”

Costa Rica is a small country. You can see it and explore in a week, said no one ever!
“I have been to Costa Rica a couple of times and every time I learn something new. It has diversity in culture just like it’s Flora and Fauna. This time we explored Manuel Antonio National Park. Our guide Javier Laguna was in charge educating us on this country, but creating an understanding on how the ecosystem works,and how important it is not not only for Costa Rica, but the world! Although, I know Spanish, my friends didn’t. Javier is so knowledgeable of the animals and flora, that he was able to translate perfectly amd even provided scientific terms. The park is now regulated as you have to buy tickets in advance and provide passport details or cédula. No food,no sun block or any other items are permitted to protect the flora and fauna. Reusable bottles are permitted. Javier provided us with fruit inside. At the end of the tour you get to enjoy the beautiful, clean soft sandy beach. Pura Vida!”— Karla O, Tripadvisor, May 14, 2026
“We booked a private tour with Jason as a couple. Right before who thinks he’s private and alone in this park thinks wrong. We were surrounded by other groups but Jason is often away with us and has seen things no one else has seen. So we were often “alone” with the great animals. We have seen a lot of different monkeys, basilisks, snakes, frogs, sloths, nose bears, etc.”

“Our guide Jason was amazing! He was very knowledgeable and knew so much about all of the flora and fauna. He answered questions as we went along. He had a scope so he could show us everything in more detail, as well as take pictures and videos. He knew the other the guides, and they would alert each when they found something of interest. We saw tiny orchids, a lizard, bats, a hummingbird on its nest, a tiny frog, a very active sloth, howler monkeys, and a ton of capuchin monkeys! And at the end Jason shared the photos and videos with us!”

“At 7:17 a.m. we got a message from the Guide Derrek that the meeting point time is not until 7:30 a.m. instead of the booked 7:00 a.m. Thank you, then we could have had our paid breakfast at the hotel! The tour was then finished after about 1.5 h and not after about 2 h as on offer. We also received the promised pictures only on request. There’s room for improvement!”

Great tour with Jason
“One of the highlights of our trip. We saw birds, sloths, snakes and monkeys. Our guide, Jason, was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. We would not have spotted the animals on our own. “Andrew took us on a guided tour of the National Park, for two hours he amazed us by spotting the tiniest and also most attractive animals. The ordianry human would certainly miss seeing the animals so it is definitely worth using Andrew and Jason! Worth every penny
“Fantastic experience with fantastic guide! Our guide, Jason, was amazing: professional, knowledgeable, patient, and a natural born comedian. We saw all kinds of lizards, land crabs, hummingbirds, bats, monkeys, and sloths. Jason sent us all the photos and videos he captured. Loved our time. Bring your bathing suits because the way back to the park entrance post tour travels along the coast. Plenty of wonderful beach to enjoy. Visiting Manuel Antonio with Uncle Jason
“We had an absolute blast doing our guided tour with Jason. He pointed out numerous plants and wildlife that we would have never found (with our own eyes). He was incredibly knowledgeable and also had a great sense of humor. The visit to the park would have been beautiful on our own but having a guide was THE way to experience all it has to offer. Jason also had an attachment for his phone that made capturing photos/videos of wildlife through the viewing scope possible. “WAY too crowded, poorly run. Yes, we did see animals along with about 100 other people at any given spot. The number of people they let in ruins the experience. We have kids with us so had to work around school holidays. Just don’t come during peak season.”

“The visit to the park by y Wilbert has been spectacular. This park must certainly be accompanied by a good guide. Alone we wouldn’t have seen half of it, it located where nobody saw. He also always helped us take the pictures through the telescope. It’s been an extraordinary experience.”

“We had a great tour of Manuel Antonio NP with Jason! He is such a knowledgeable and fun tour guide. We saw everything on our list, with the highlights being the Capuchin monkeys, two and three toed sloths, the hammerhead basilisk, yellow-throated toucan, and a common pauraque. Jason was able to air drop all of the photos and videos that he captured from his sighting scope to us, which was really awesome to take our experience home with us. Highly recommend this tour!”
