Group departures run at 7:00, 7:30, 9:00, 11:00 and 13:00. Wildlife is wild, so we never promise a specific animal — what we promise is a certified guide who knows where to look and a scope that lets your guest actually see it.
Manuel Antonio National Park does not open on Tuesdays. If the concierge books a park tour for a Tuesday, the guest arrives at a closed gate. The rest of the week the park runs 7:00am to 4:00pm, and entrance tickets are sold online only through SINAC using the guest’s passport number.
These are the nine Tuesdays in the season ahead: December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 of 2026, and January 5, 12, 19 and 26 of 2027. On those nine days we run alternatives instead, and they carry the same commission — Damas Mangrove day tour at $55 per person, Damas Mangrove night tour at $70 per person, and the Manuel Antonio Night Tour at $50 group or $75 private.
December and January are the driest and busiest months in Manuel Antonio, and the 7:00am departures sell out first — they are also the slots where wildlife is most active, before the midday heat. Across the two months there are 62 calendar days; nine of them are Tuesdays with the park shut, which leaves roughly 53 operating days, with peak pressure between December 20 and January 5.
What that means for your front desk is concrete: a guest who asks on Wednesday for a Thursday 7:00am tour in late December will often find nothing left, while a guest who books the week before gets the slot.
